Deborah Waring is a New York state licensed and board certified in acupuncture. She has practiced traditional Chinese medicine since 2001.
She began her undergraduate studies in laboratory technology at St. Johns' University in New York. Subsequently, she earned her Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture at the New York College for Wholistic Health Education and Research in New York.
Deborah has traveled to China and Japan to continue her Studies. In China, she assisted the doctor's at a regional clinic in Huangzhou. She also attended numerous lectures on acupuncture and internal medicine at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital.
Since her return to the U.S. in 2001, Deborah has specialized in the treatment of fertility and injury care.
Deborah has 14 years of experience in a clinical laboratory which gives her a keen ability to review and understand test results as well as make healthy recommendations.
Deborah is a member in good standing of ASNY, AAOM and other professional organizations which represent New York acupuncturists to the general population. She is also a practicing martial artist.
Recently she has begun writing a book on Chinese medicine in order to bring greater understanding to a wider audience. She has written numerous articles, and continues to lecture frequently on the subject of infertility and traditional Chinese medicine.
